Veneers vs. crowns
A porcelain veneer is a thin shell bonded to the front of a tooth, used when the tooth itself is structurally sound but the shape, color or small chips are what bother you. A crown covers the whole tooth and is the better choice when more of the tooth is worn down, cracked, or already has a large filling that a veneer wouldn't be strong enough to sit over.

Zoom! whitening vs. take-home options
Zoom! whitening is done in the office in a single visit, under supervision, and gets teeth several shades lighter faster than a take-home kit. For patients who'd rather whiten on their own schedule, Southridge Dental also points patients toward NiteWhite trays or an over-the-counter option like Colgate Optic White.
Neither option is permanent. Coffee, red wine and tobacco bring shade back over time, and whitening doesn't change the color of an existing crown or filling, which is worth knowing before whitening around one.

When a fixed bridge is the honest answer
Veneers and crowns fix teeth that are still there. A fixed bridge is for a gap where a tooth is missing, anchored to the healthy teeth on either side of the space rather than to the jawbone the way an implant is. It's a faster, less involved option than an implant, and for the right gap it's a perfectly reasonable one.
The honest comparison between a bridge and an implant depends on the condition of the teeth next to the gap and what you'd rather commit to.
