Invisalign and ClearCorrect clear aligners
Southridge Dental Care straightens teeth with clear aligners rather than traditional metal brackets and wires. Both Invisalign and ClearCorrect work the same basic way: a series of clear, custom-fitted trays, each one shifting your teeth slightly closer to their final position, worn in sequence over the course of treatment. There is no metal to catch on your cheek and nothing bonded to the front of your teeth.
Dr. Christopher Martinez plans the case and checks progress at each visit, adjusting the sequence if a tooth is moving faster or slower than expected. Because the aligners are removable, eating and brushing stay normal for the length of treatment, unlike a fixed appliance you can't take out.

Who clear aligners generally suit
Clear aligners tend to work well for crowding, gaps and mild to moderate bite issues in teeth and gums that are otherwise healthy. They are not the right tool for every case, and a tooth that needs to move a significant distance, or a bite problem that is more structural, can call for a different approach or a referral.
That is a call the exam makes, not a guess from a photo. Dr. Martinez looks at your teeth, gums and bite in person before saying whether Invisalign or ClearCorrect is a reasonable fit for what you want to change, and will say so plainly if it isn't.
Chapter 03
What wearing them looks like day to day
Aligners are worn most of the day, typically around 20 to 22 hours, and come out to eat, drink anything other than water, and brush and floss. Each tray is generally worn for one to two weeks before moving to the next one in the series, with check-in visits along the way so Dr. Martinez can confirm the fit is tracking as planned.
A new tray can feel snug for the first day or two as your teeth adjust, which is normal and expected. The office is open Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, for check-ins and questions, and if a tray feels wrong rather than just new, calling before your next scheduled visit is always the right move.
