About Southridge Dental
A new doctor took over. The front desk stayed exactly where it was.
Southridge Dental Care has practiced out of 1000 Wigwam Parkway, Suite 120, in Henderson for years. What changed in 2026 was who leads it: Dr. Christopher Martinez, a UCLA-trained dentist, bought the practice from its longtime former owner. He did not start it, and this page will not pretend otherwise. What he did inherit, and kept, was the team already in the building.
Jane has managed the front desk since 2009. Lacey has been a dental assistant since 2017 and at this office since 2021. Amy has worked in dentistry for thirty years and as a hygienist for more than twenty, here since 2021. Patients who have come for fifteen years still see the same faces at the counter, the same hands during a cleaning. Leading the practice since 2026
Dr. Christopher Martinez, DDS
Dr. Martinez is a graduate of the UCLA School of Dentistry, where he was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society reserved for the top tenth of a graduating class. He completed a General Practice Residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, with advanced training in dental implants, full-arch restorations and root canal therapy beyond what dental school alone covers.
Before buying Southridge Dental, he spent a year as Clinical Restorative Faculty at UCLA, mentoring third- and fourth-year dental students through their own restorative cases. At Southridge, he practices full-scope general dentistry: preventive care, fillings, crowns, implants, root canals, dentures and cosmetic treatment, all under one roof at Suite 120.
Our pediatric specialist
Dr. Letitia Edwards
Dr. Edwards is a board-certified pediatric dentist who sees Southridge’s youngest patients, from a child’s first visit through the teen years. She grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she still follows the Giants and the 49ers.
She earned a B.S. in Biological Sciences from UC Irvine, where she received the Chancellor’s Award of Distinction, then a DDS from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. Her pediatric dental residency was at USC, where she trained specifically in treating children with special needs, including autism, and craniofacial conditions such as cleft lip and palate. Jane
Office manager, since 2009
Jane has run the front desk for more than fifteen years. She attends dental seminars and keeps current with the insurance companies, so she is the person to ask what your plan covers before you book. Outside the office she spends weekends with family and the golf channel.
Lacey
Lead assistant, since 2021
Lacey has worked as a dental assistant since 2017 and joined Southridge in 2021. She is a mother of two boys and is usually the hands beside the chair during a procedure, keeping the visit moving and the patient comfortable.
Amy
Registered dental hygienist, since 2021
Amy has worked in dentistry for thirty years, more than twenty of them as a hygienist, and joined Southridge in 2021. She is married with three children and spends time off traveling with her family. One patient called a cleaning with Amy one of the gentlest they’ve had.

The stone entrance on the right side of the building leads to a granite front desk and a waiting room with leather chairs, open Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

No dental insurance? The Southridge Dental Discount Program is $125 a year for an individual or $175 a year for a family.
